Accused of intimate attack, former Tinder President sues their accuser for defamation
In August, a former vp at Tinder registered a lawsuit alleging that Greg Blatt, the onetime leader of Tinder and its mother or father firms fit Group and IAC, intimately harassed and assaulted this lady at a company Christmas party in 2016.
On Thursday, Blatt filed a defamation fit against their accuser, Rosette Pambakian, and against Tinder’s co-founder and previous Chief Executive Officer Sean Rad, alleging the sexual battery pack accusations are part of a-smear campaign designed to provide Rad and Pambakian power in a separate multibillion-dollar appropriate battle over the property value Tinder stock.
“Rad and Pambakian have attempted to weaponize an essential personal motion,” the defamation fit alleges, “undermining the plight of real subjects of sexual misuse by creating bogus accusations in cynical pursuit of a $2 billion windfall.”
Orin Snyder, legal counsel for Pambakian and Rad, known as Blatt’s fit “a brand-new lower for IAC/Match in addition to their former CEO. They continue to retaliate against and smear a victim of sexual attack plus the individual that reported they. Their unique attacks are based on lays and paperwork being removed from perspective.
